6603 had been used as our heifer bull for three years. His one
and two year old progeny are being sold in 1999.
Also being used as a herd bull is Mon Reposa Star Quest 529.

This is a son of Mon Reposa Crown, a bull many of you have
inquired about and one named a "Pathfinder" in 1997.
He is the Grandson of the famous Mon Reposa King 904 and great
grandson of Mon Reposa Big John. Star Quest's first yearling progeny
are available in 1998.

- This cross with Mountain Dew has given us some excellent
growth bull prospects.
Birth weights, weaning weights and yearly weights are available
for all of our heifers and bulls available for purchase. To date,
all of our marketed animals have been purchased by private treaty
directly from the ranch, but we will ship nationally or internationally.

BACKGROUND ABOUT OUR RANCH
- In addition to being a consulting engineering company providing
services throughout the states, its president, James.M. Miller,
has developed three other types of operations under his direction:
a publishing company (Fuller Technical Publishing); a hydroelectric
facility in Idaho (Sako Hydro); and Miller Enterprises, which
is a 800 acre farm and ranch in Twin Falls (Filer) Idaho, 10
miles west of Twin Falls, Idaho.
The ranch specializes in irrigated crops such as potatoes (of
course), sugar beets, and most important, alfalfa hay. The alfalfa
hay is important for the production of the Miller Enterprises
registered black angus cattle that are being raised and sold for
breeding purposes to other cattle ranchers.
A key bloodline being expanded upon is that of the famous Mon
Reposa ranch. One of the partners in this endeavor is A.F. (Bud)
Patterson, once the managing partner of Mon Reposa and now our
cattle operations manager.
The Miller Enterprises and Mon Reposa registered black angus
herd of approximately 100 cows uses bulls raised primarily on
our own ranch. We are proud that 22 of our cows have been designated
in 1998 as "Pathfinders" by the American Angus Association.
Our Mon Reposa blood line is also a total out-cross from the typical
blood lines popular through many of the AI services.
