5.3 SAFETY FEATURES- Manufacturers/suppliers shall advise the initial pool purchaser/owner of the following:
5.3.1 Warn against diving into an aboveground/onground pool.	NEVER ALLOW DIVING INTO THIS PRODUCT.		NO DIVING, SLIDING OR JUMPING. Shallow Water. DIVING MAY RESULT IN DEATH, PARALYSIS OR OTHER PERMANENT INJURY. ALWAYS ENTER POOL FEET FIRST.	from std. Pg. 43, 48.
5.3.3 Safety signs shall comply with reqts. Of ANSI Z535 Series of Stds for Safety Signs and Colors
5.3.3.1 The signal word shall be written in bold type, a min. of twice the size of the normal type used in the instructions, and is contained in a bordered area.	WARNING:	Danger should be used for the "No Diving" information, while Warning could be used for the other information.	DANGER:
5.3.4 Swimming pool barriers, which restrict access to the pool by children under 5. Advise that a barrier is necessary to provide protection against potential drowning and near drowning and that barriers are not a substitute for the constant supervision of children.	USE ONLY UNDER COMPETENT ADULT SUPERVISION.	Use statement near 'never leave children unattended.' or combine the two statements.	PREVENT DROWNING. Adults must supervise children at all times.	in std. 5.3.6 Toys, chairs, tables or similar objects that a young child could climb shall be at least 4 feet from the pool.	KEEP TOYS, PARTICULARLY TRICYCLES OR WHEELED TOYS, AND OTHER PLAYTHINGS AWAY FROM THE POOL. A CHILD PLAYING WITH THESE COULD ACCIDENTALLY FALL INTO THE WATER.	Do not need 'and other playthings' in here- toys should cover it all.	Keep toys, particularly tricycles or wheeled toys, away from the pool. A child playing with these could accidentally fall into the water.
	GUARD AGAINST SLIPS AND FALLS IN THE POOL. DO NOT PLACE OBJECTS (e.g., CHAIRS OR TABLES) NEAR THE POOL.	Placing chairs, tables near the pool isn't a slip and fall hazard, it's a climbing issue.		(this is included in others cuz it's a way to get around the fence…
6.0 Aboveground/onground Safety Signs- Safety signs shall conform with the reqts. Of ANSI Z535.
The mfr shall affix or provide safety signs stating "No Diving"		Appendix B includes examples of No Diving safety signage.
The liner mfr. Shall provide safety signs stating "No Diving" with all original and replacement liners."
The installer shall affix all safety signs in acc with the mfrs instructions stating "No Diving" so it can be clearly visible after constuction of the pool and its adjacent structures has been completed and prior to use.
The wall mfr shall provide and/or affix to the exterior side of the pool wall safety signs stating "No Diving."
	FOLLOW THESE RULES TO AVOID DROWNING, PARALYSIS OR OTHER SERIOUS INJURY.		To avoid permanent serious injury, other serious injury or death all pool users must know and follow these safety rules.	in std. Pg. 43
	POOL FENCING LAWS AFFECT THIS PRODUCT, CONSULT YOUR LOCAL GOVERNMENT OFFICE.	This is more of a regulation/guideline, not a warning.

	EMPTY AND STORE THE POOL SAFELY WHEN NOT IN USE.	Safely not needed here.
	NEVER PLACE POOL IN ANOTHER BODY OF WATER	????
	DUE TO POOL CONTAINING SMALL PARTS IT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 36 MONTHS OF AGE.	Statement is awkward.	Choking Hazard Contains small parts, not for use by children under 3.
	NEVER USE A POOL WHILE OR AFTER CONSUMING ALCOHOL OR ANY DRUGS.		Do not swim when using alcohol or drugs.	in std. Pg. 43.
