Miller Experimental Farm

Miller Experimental Farm

Miller Engineering owns and operates a 1000 acre farm and ranch in Twin Falls, Idaho. Crops produced include potatoes, alfalfa, sugar beets, barley for Coors and Budweiser, winter wheat, and three types of corn: sweet, field, and silage corn. The ranch is also home to 300 registered black angus cattle.

The agricultural engineer who actively managed the Idaho farm/ranch operations on site is now available in the Michigan area as well to bring his experiences for the purposes of consulting in the Michigan-Ohio area. Through these experiences we have familiarity with a large percentage of the types of farm operations and equipment which can potentially be involved in accidents. We are also in a position to assist in systems design from simple individual pieces of equipment to complicated automatic irrigation and hydroelectric systems.

Combined with the experiences of other engineers in the Miller Engineering firm, we can act as experts in many of the warning, labeling, toxic material, vehicular accidents, all terrain vehicle (ATV) usage and animal safety issues confronted in farm/ranch operations.

On staff, we also have a licensed applicator for herbicides, fertilizer, pesticides, insecticides, and restricted use chemicals.
